Vacuum bagging is widely used in composite material industry. It is a technique in which the adhesive solidifies, exerts uniform pressure on the surface of the object in the bag and holds parts together.Several effects are exerted on composite laminations. It removes trapped air between layers and provides pressure to prevent fibers from changing orientation during curing. It also reduces humidity and improves the fiber-to-resin ratio of composite parts.
